"Ok Officer, I don't want any trouble," the woman said.

"You, too, Sir. Hands up."

"Officer...."

"It's Detective."

"I'm sorry. Detective, ain't nothing wrong with getting a little head. I didn't do nothing wrong," the guy muttered.

Just as I was grabbing the man's hand to cuff him, Rodman ran over to me. I wanted to kick him. He was acting like a child, jumping around like he had to pee or something.

"Rodman, you can't act like this while were making an arrest," I barked.

"Detective, look, look. It's him."

He showed me the picture of Hakeem. I took one look at the picture and looked at the man, and I'll be damned. It sure was him. This rookie wasn't so bad after all.

"Mr. Hakeem. We have been looking for your ass."

"For what. I ain't done nothing wrong."

"Oh, sure you did. Not only are you under arrest for indecent exposure in public, you're under arrest for the murder of Alexis Watkins."

I couldn't believe how good that sounded. He fought and cursed me out, but I had the victory, and that was all that mattered.
